For streamers

Your Twitch Emotes on Kick and YouTube the same 7TV, BTTV and FFZ set, no re-adding

Most streamers built their emote set on Twitch. Start streaming on Kick or YouTube and chat gets none of it: 7TV wants a separate Kick setup, and BTTV and FFZ have no Kick sets at all. Link your accounts on Blerp and your Twitch set follows you.

How it works

7TV, BTTV and FFZ keep one emote set per linked channel. Blerp reads the sets for every account you link, then shows your Twitch set in any chat where that service has no set for your Kick or YouTube channel. The order is Twitch first, then Kick, then YouTube: whichever of your channels has a set fills in for the ones that don't.

Nothing is copied or re-uploaded, and nothing changes on 7TV, BTTV or FFZ. Keep adding emotes on Twitch the way you do today and every linked chat picks them up.

How to set it up

  1. 1

Link Twitch and your other channel

Sign in to Blerp and add Kick, YouTube or both under Linked accounts.

Blerp's Linked accounts page with Twitch, YouTube, Kick and the other chat sites linked
  2. 2

    Keep your sets on Twitch

Your 7TV, BTTV and FFZ emotes stay managed on their own sites with your Twitch account.

  3. 3

    Tell chat about the extension

Viewers who switch on Chat emotes in the Blerp extension see your Twitch set in your Kick and YouTube chat.

Kick chat side by side: emote names as plain words without Blerp, and the streamer's Twitch BTTV emotes as pictures with the Blerp extension

Who sees them

  • Viewers with the Blerp extension and Chat emotes switched on, in desktop Chrome or Firefox.
  • Viewers with 7TV's extension see your 7TV emotes on Kick only if you set 7TV up for Kick too; they never see BTTV or FFZ emotes there.
  • Everyone else sees the emote names as text, as on Twitch.

Chat emotes on every stream

What stays platform-specific

  • Kick's own channel and subscriber emotes, YouTube's member emoji and Twitch's subscriber emotes stay where they are; each platform renders its own.
  • BTTV pictures can't load on X or TikTok, so your BTTV set shows as names there; 7TV and FFZ show.
  • A Kick or YouTube set of your own always wins over the carried Twitch set for that service.

Questions

Do I have to re-add my emotes on 7TV for Kick?

Not for viewers with the Blerp extension. If you also want 7TV's own extension to show them on Kick, 7TV asks you to connect Kick on 7tv.app as well.

Does this work from Kick to Twitch?

Yes. Twitch fills in first, then Kick, then YouTube, so a set built on Kick shows on YouTube too. Any chat that has its own set for a service keeps it.

Will Kick or YouTube viewers see my Twitch subscriber emotes?

No. Twitch subscriber emotes belong to Twitch. This covers 7TV, BTTV, FFZ and Blerp emotes.

Is it free?

Yes, for streamers and viewers.
