A StreamElements Alternative for Alerts and TTS keep your SE tips, move the parts that have to play
StreamElements is not shutting down, and its tips and overlays can stay right where they are. Blerp is the alternative for the parts that have to do something on stream: alerts, TTS, channel point sounds, goals and a subathon timer, on Twitch, Kick, YouTube, TikTok LIVE, X and Rumble from one setup. Most of it is free to set up.
Who this page is for
You run alerts, TTS or a timer on StreamElements and want them somewhere that works on more than one platform, or you read the shutdown reports and want a plan before anything breaks.
Here is where things stand as of November 2026. StreamElements is still free and still running. Razer bought it on July 31, 2026. Its old tip system, SE.Pay Legacy, ends on December 31, 2026, so tips are the one part with a date on them. The full story is in is StreamElements shutting down.
Blerp does not import StreamElements alerts, so moving means setting each alert up again. Most streamers have a handful, and each one takes a minute.
What's free on Blerp
Sounds viewers play
Sound alerts viewers play through the Blerp extension, and five sound channel point rewards on Twitch and four on Kick.
Goals
Follower, sub, Bits and raid goals that fill up on their own in OBS.
Viewer TTS
TTS viewers send from your Blerp page or the browser extension costs you nothing, and a channel point TTS reward in the standard voice is free.
The Twitch extension
The Blerp Twitch extension and its soundboard are free. Viewers spend Bits, Blerp currency or points they earn by watching.
Overlays, pets and throws
Two combined overlays, stream pets and extension throwables are free.
Blerp Unlimited
Alerts for follows, subs, gifts, Bits, raids and tips, tip goals, the subathon timer, chat commands and ten overlays.

Switch in five steps

Sign in to Blerp
Create your account with Twitch, Kick, YouTube or Google, then link the other platforms you stream on.

Connect StreamElements
In Integrations, press Connect on StreamElements and then Start. Your tips keep going through StreamElements, and Blerp hears them.

Build your alerts
Make a follow, sub, Bits, raid and tip alert, each with a sound, a TTS line, a video or an alert box, and pick the platforms it plays for.

Add rewards viewers trigger
On Channel Points, add sound and TTS rewards on Twitch and Kick, or switch on the Blerp extension for Bits sounds.

Swap the browser source
Add Blerp's Alert Box browser source to OBS, send a test alert, then remove the StreamElements alert source once yours plays.
Free or Blerp Unlimited
Signing up for Blerp is free, and so are the sound library, the Twitch extension, sound channel point rewards, viewer TTS from your Blerp page and follower, sub, Bits and raid goals. That covers most of what a small stream runs on StreamElements today.
Alerts for follows, subs, gifts, Bits, raids and tips, tip goals, the subathon timer and chat commands are part of Blerp Unlimited. Start with the free pieces, then upgrade when you move the platform alerts.

No. Connect StreamElements to Blerp and your tips fire Blerp alerts and add subathon time while the tip page stays where it is. StreamElements subathon timer
Can Blerp import my StreamElements alerts?
Not yet. You set each alert up again in Blerp's alert editor, and your own sound files upload to the library.
What does Blerp not replace?
Overlay designs, custom widgets and a chat bot for text replies and moderation. Keep those on StreamElements, or pair Blerp with the chat bot you like. Chat bots
