Funny TTS Messages to send on stream
A good TTS message lands because of timing and voice, not shock value. Here are lines that get a laugh from the streamer and chat, in the voices that sell them.
Fake announcements
- Attention shoppers: the streamer's aim is now on sale. Everything must go.
- This is your captain speaking. We are experiencing some turbulence, mostly from the gameplay.
- Breaking news: local streamer still hasn't drunk water. More at eleven.
- Your free trial of being good at this game has ended.
- Please remain seated. The streamer is about to make a decision.
Dramatic narration
- And in that moment, they knew. They had forgotten to save.
- Our hero enters the room. Our hero immediately leaves the room.
- Little did they know, chat had seen everything.
- Years from now, historians will study this play and still not understand it.
- It was at this point the streamer realized they had the map open the whole time.
Game commentary
- That was a tactical loss. Very tactical. Extremely tactical.
- I believe in you. I just don't believe in your movement.
- Have you tried pressing the buttons more?
- The enemy team would like to thank you for your contribution.
- Speedrun strats spotted. Speedrunning to the respawn screen.
Wholesome chaos
- Reminder: you're doing great. The game is just rude.
- Hydration check. This message was sponsored by water.
- Chat has voted. You are the main character today.
- Hi, it's me, the voice in your head, but out loud.
Make TTS land
Pick the voice first
A deadpan announcer for fake news, a movie trailer voice for narration. The voice is half the joke.
Use punctuation
Commas and full stops give TTS pauses. A pause before the punchline sells it.
Keep it short
Short lines land; long ones get skipped or cut off by the streamer's length limit.
Read the room
Streamers can send TTS through a moderation queue. Funny gets approved; mean gets skipped.
