Twitch channel points guide

Twitch Channel Points Ideas rewards your community will actually redeem

The best channel point rewards give viewers a way to change what happens on stream. Here are reward ideas that get redeemed, from free sound rewards to challenges that cost you nothing but your dignity.

Rewards that play on stream

These run through Blerp and a browser source in OBS. Sound and standard-voice TTS rewards are free; the rest say what they need.

  • Play a meme sound

The classic. Pick a sound viewers love, like a bonk or a jump scare, and price it so it lands at the funniest moments. Free.

  • Say it with TTS

Viewers type a message and it's read out loud on stream. The standard voice is free; character voices come with Blerp Unlimited.

  • Play a video meme

A short reaction clip or video meme pops up on screen. Free plans include one video reward.

  • Throw something at me

Viewers throw tomatoes, eggs or rubber ducks at your screen. Throws on rewards come with a Blerp subscription.

  • Spin the wheel

Viewers spin a prize wheel you fill with dares, games or giveaways. Part of Blerp Unlimited.

  • Make the pet talk

Your stream pet says what the viewer types. Pet rewards come with Blerp Unlimited.

Challenge and control rewards

These are plain Twitch rewards you fulfil yourself. No extra tools needed.

  • Pick my next game

Let the redeemer choose from a short list you set.

  • Choose my loadout

Weapon, character or deck for the next round is chat's call.

  • Play one-handed

For one round, or until the next checkpoint.

  • Talk in an accent

Five minutes of the worst accent you can do.

  • Hydrate or posture check

Cheap, frequent and genuinely good for you.

  • Name something

A character, a pet, a base or a boss gets the viewer's pick.

  • Ban a word

You can't say a word chat picks for ten minutes.

  • Song for the next segment

The redeemer picks the music, within your rules.

  • Compliment the chatter

A cheap reward that makes new viewers feel seen.

How to price rewards

Price everyday rewards so a regular viewer can redeem one every stream or two, and save the big costs for rewards that change the stream for everyone. Add a cooldown to anything loud so it stays funny.

Start with three to five rewards. Too many and nobody reads the list; watch what gets redeemed for a couple of weeks and replace the ones that don't.
