Nightbot is a solid chat bot for Twitch and YouTube. People look for an alternative for two reasons: they stream somewhere Nightbot doesn't list, like Kick, or they want commands that do more than post text. Blerp chat commands are in limited beta. A Nightbot alternative for Kick
Nightbot's setup docs list Twitch, YouTube, Trovo and SOOP. For the same kind of bot on Kick, with commands, timers and spam filters, Fossabot and Streamlabs Cloudbot both list Kick, and KickBot is built only for Kick.
Blerp is a different kind of bot: its commands play a sound, a TTS voice, a meme video or an alert on your stream, and reply in Kick chat. Use it next to one of those.
When you want commands that do something
A Nightbot command answers with text. A Blerp command can make your stream react: !bonk plays a bonk, !tts reads the viewer's message in a character voice, !scream shows a clip. The same commands work in Twitch, Kick, YouTube, TikTok LIVE, Rumble and X chat.
Blerp doesn't filter spam, run timers or take song requests, so plenty of streamers keep Nightbot for those and add Blerp for the fun commands.

Request beta access
Ask for Blerp chat command access in our Discord. Creating commands also requires Blerp Unlimited.

Link Twitch
Open Integrations on Blerp and link your Twitch account.

Turn on chat listening
On the Twitch card, press Start next to Chat messages while you're live, so Blerp reads your chat.

Make a command
Open Chat on Blerp, press New trigger, type the command and pick what it does: a sound, TTS, a video, an alert or a chat reply.

Add the browser source
Add Blerp's browser source to OBS so sounds and alerts play on stream, then try the command in your chat.
