For streamers

Twitch Throwables viewers throw things at your stream

Let your viewers pelt your stream with tomatoes, eggs, rubber ducks and cream pies. Throws land right on screen, and your chat finally gets a way to get back at you for that missed jump.

Things viewers can throw

Throwables come in sets you switch on in Blerp. Some favourites:

  • Classic food fight

Tomatoes, eggs and cream pies that splat and slide down your screen.

  • Silly stuff

Rubber ducks, toilet paper rolls and gift boxes for gentler chaos.

  • Spooky sets

Pumpkins to smash, plus spooky sets made for horror streams.

Where viewers throw from

  • Your Blerp Twitch extension panel: free to set up.
  • The Blerp browser extension and your Blerp page, for viewers on any platform.
  • Channel point rewards on Twitch and Kick, and alerts for subs, Bits and tips: part of a Blerp subscription.

Set up throwables

  1. 1

    Pick your sets

Open Throwables in Blerp and switch on the sets you want viewers to throw.

  2. 2

    Add the browser source

Add Blerp's Fullscreen browser source to OBS. That's where throws land.

  3. 3

    Test a throw

Send a test throw to check where it lands and how loud it is, then go live.

Questions

Is it free?

Setting up throwables in your Blerp extension is free; viewers spend Bits or Blerp currency to throw. Throws on channel point rewards and alerts are part of a Blerp subscription.

Do I need to download anything?

No. Throwables play through a Blerp browser source, so there's no app or plugin to install.

Can throws hit my VTuber model?

Throws land on your stream overlay, on top of everything else in your scene, rather than moving your model in VTube Studio.

Does it work on Kick?

Yes. Kick viewers can throw from a channel point reward or the Blerp browser extension, through the same browser source.
