Blerp Channel Points Not Working? Here's How to Fix It

A Troubleshooting guide to Blerp Twitch channel Points

Here's how to fix the most common Blerp channel point issues, organized by symptom so you can jump straight to your problem.

My Channel Point Rewards Aren't Showing Up in Twitch

If you've added rewards in Blerp but they're not appearing in your Twitch Channel Points menu, the most likely cause is hitting Twitch's 50-reward limit. Twitch caps every channel at 50 active channel point rewards across all tools, not just Blerp. If you're at the limit, new rewards can't be created.

Fix:

  1. Go to your Twitch Creator Dashboard → Viewer Rewards → Channel Points → Manage Rewards.

  2. Look for any rewards you're not using (from other tools, or old Blerp rewards you've forgotten about) and disable or delete them to free up slots.

  3. Head back to Blerp's Channel Points tab — you should now be able to add new rewards.

You can also see your current reward count at the top of Blerp's Channel Points page, which shows how many slots you have active on and off Blerp.

My Viewers Can Redeem But Nothing Happens on Stream

The redemption goes through, points are spent, but no sound plays, and nothing changes on stream. This is almost always one of two things:

1. Your Blerp browser source isn't active in OBS

Blerp needs to be running as a browser source in your streaming software, not just open in a browser tab. Check that the browser source is in your current active scene in OBS or Streamlabs.

2. Audio monitoring isn't set up correctly

If sound specifically isn't playing, this is the most common cause. See the full guide on fixing sound not playing when channel points are redeemed

My Rewards Are Showing as "Out of Stock"

If viewers are trying to redeem a reward and it's showing as out of stock, it means per-stream or per-user limits have been reached for that reward.

Fix:

  1. In Blerp's Channel Points tab, find the reward and click the three-dot menu (···) → Edit Reward.

  2. Look for "Limit per stream" and "Limit per user per stream" — if either is set to a low number, viewers will hit the cap quickly.

  3. Increase the limits or remove them entirely if you don't want a cap.

Note: Sometimes Twitch itself shows rewards as out of stock on live streams even when limits haven't been reached. This is a Twitch platform issue and isn't something Blerp can control.

My Redemptions Are Stuck in a Queue

If redemptions are going through but you're having to manually approve them or they're just sitting there. Auto Fulfill might be turned off.

Fix:

  1. In Blerp's Channel Points tab, click Settings (top right corner).

  2. Toggle "Auto Fulfilled by Blerp" ON.

With Auto Fulfill on, redemptions are automatically accepted or rejected based on your browser source connection. With it off, every redemption needs manual approval from your Twitch queue.

Also check that "Skip Reward Request Queue" is enabled in Twitch's channel points settings for each Blerp reward — this tells Twitch to pass the redemption straight through instead of holding it.

I'm Getting an Error Code When Adding a Reward

Here's what each error code means and how to fix it:

REDEMPTION_TITLE_FORBIDDEN

The reward title contains a word or phrase Twitch doesn't allow. Edit the title and try again — avoid anything that could be flagged as inappropriate.

DUPLICATE_REDEMPTION_TITLE

A reward with that exact name already exists in your Blerp channel point redemptions. Rename it slightly and save.

MAX_REDEMPTIONS_REACHED

You've hit Twitch's 50-reward cap. Go to your Twitch Channel Points dashboard, free up some slots, and try again.

My Channel Points Were Working and Suddenly Stopped

If everything was fine and something changed, run through these checks:

  • Blerp's Twitch connection may have expired. Go to Blerp settings and reconnect your Twitch account.

  • The browser source may have been removed from OBS. Check that Blerp is still in your active scene.

  • OBS was updated or reset. Sometimes updates reset audio settings — check your audio monitoring is still set to "Monitor and Output."

  • The reward was accidentally toggled off in Blerp. Check the Channel Points tab and make sure the reward is enabled.

Still Not Fixed?

Before reaching out, run through this quick checklist:

  • ✅ Under Twitch's 50-reward limit

  • ✅ Reward is toggled ON in Blerp's Channel Points tab

  • ✅ Auto Fulfilled is toggled ON in Blerp settings

  • ✅ "Skip Reward Request Queue" is enabled in Twitch

  • ✅ Browser source is active in your current OBS scene

  • ✅ Blerp's Twitch connection is active in settings
