How to Add Auctions and Polls to Your Trovo Stream

Engaging with your audience is key to a successful stream, and Blerp's Auctions and Votes features bring an interactive edge to your Trovo stream. These features let your viewers use Beets to bid on items during auctions or vote in polls that influence your stream. Losing bids in auctions are refunded as credits that can be used on your channel

Creative Ways to Use Auctions and Polls

Auctions:

• Exclusive Content Access: Auction off a chance for a viewer to pick the next game you play.
• Personalized Shoutouts: Let viewers bid on a custom shoutout or on-stream mention.

Polls:

• Choose Your Next Game: Let your audience vote on what you play next.
• Chat-Driven Story Decisions: Let viewers influence your in-game choices.
• Stream Challenges: Poll your audience on what challenge you should complete next.

How to Set Up Auctions and Polls

Step 1: Create a Blerp Account

Visit Blerp and sign up using your email or preferred method.

Step 2: Complete Onboarding

After signing up, go through the onboarding process to set up your account.

Step 3: Navigate to Blerp Experiences

From the side menu, click on “Blerp Experiences” to access the auctions and polls settings.

Setting Up Auctions

• Select “Create a New Auction” or choose from the premade example options.

• Fill in the auction details:
• Item being auctioned
• Minimum first bid amount (in Bits or Beets)
• Auction duration

1. Click “Start” to make your auction go live.
2. When you’re ready, end the auction by selecting “End This Auction”.

Setting Up Votes

• Navigate to the “Votes” section at the top of the same screen.
• Select “Create a New Vote” or use one of the premade examples.

• Fill in the poll details:
• Vote title (e.g., What game should I play next?)
• Vote options
• Duration of the vote
• Refund percentage for losing votes

• Click “Start” to launch the vote.
• End the vote at any time by selecting “End This Vote”.

Adding Auctions and Polls to Your Stream

To make sure your viewers can see and interact with your auctions and polls:

1. Add your Auctions and Polls Browser Source to your broadcasting software (OBS, Streamlabs, etc.).
2. Customize your alerts by selecting “Alert Settings” at the top of the page.
